Task:
Search for a point of sale and inventory control system.
Dilemma:
What’s a point of sale in the first place?
After some research, I find out that Point of Sale is a software of hardware that assists businesses by organizing, recording sales, and keeping track of inventories.
The software I am to search should run on any computer, protect the data, with data updated real-time, and should offer the option of using theirs or the company’s hardware. So far, I have found one, to match the requirements of the POS software they required. The software is compatible with Windows XP, Mac OSX, Linux, and Windows Vista.
If the bosses approve of this POS, that would be, one duty done. Although ideally, it would be best if I could broaden the choices, just incase I need additional ammunition. Then I can move on to Task2—a more effective mail server.
