The Right to Alter-egos

Sphere: Related Content

Gone are the days of the masked crusaders fighting with villains to avenge the deaths of their loved ones, or to release their hidden tendencies and frustrations. Alas! Now, we have… blogs.

The main reason for the short lifespan of my blogs, is that, it is highly dependent on relationships (I am writing with a clear understanding that this may have bad implications on my relationship routine). As others may prefer to put a post an entry about one relationship, and post another about its ending, and another for a new-found love, well, I prefer to not see them on the same page, or URL. Furthermore, I was blessed with very interesting boyfriends who are excellent at internet researches, and take pains in reading, with great disinterest, my blog content. Inevitably, upon its end, it becomes a curse, as I later discover their continuous visits to pages of my adventures and lies, and my freedom to write, and choose what to write is taken away.

The right to lie, and to entertain people with these lies, should not be taken away from anyone, and so is the right to be entertained by them.

In this world, the decision to be who you want to be is as easy as typing, choosing which events should be blocked out from your world a click away, and friends are easier to find. The enemies, well, can be easily deleted from your comments page.

I have many guilty pleasure blogs, whether they be emo or niche, but none of that matter. Blogging is a matter of choice, of enjoying your choices when all others are taken away from you.

For me blogging is a choice. I don't really care who get to read my blog. People can read and see what is inside it, but they are not allowed to judge me and criticize me. ^_^

Btw, I also got plenty of blogs. Not only one, but many. But its kind of private. ^_^ I guess, we have to have some privacy after all. ^_^

Miles, I wish my sun sim were disposable too, but my entire family would freak. Wala nang outlet ang aking titas and mom for menopause. Hehehe.
